Pahang failed to make the most of chances and settled for a 1-1 with Perak in Ipoh.
Pahang are back at the top of Super League standings level on points and goal difference with Johor Darul Takzim but have scored more goals. Pahang could have opened a two point lead had they won as JDT lost 4-1 to Kelantan on Kota Baru.

Pahang were ahead 1-0 at halftime thanks to a Hafiz Kamal freekick in the 31st minute.
The Elephants were on the offensive from the start and Zesh Rehman forced Zamir Selamat to make a point blank save just three minutes into the match.
Pahang also threatened to open scoring from freekicks in the 20th and 27th minute but could not execute the setpieces until Hafiz’s kick sailed past Zamir.
Dickson Nwakaeme thought he had doubled Pahang’s lead 47th minute but the goal was overruled.
Bobby Gonzalez, who also scored in Perak’s previous match, equalised after skipper Nasir Basharuddin played a defence splitting through ball in the 69th minute.
