Keep fighting, calls Razman

August 11, 2015

Razman Roslan rallied the Elephants to end their Super League campaign with four wins.

Pahang led the standings by two points but the 4-2 defeat to LionsXII at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday saw JDT move one point clear thanks to Safee Sali’s winner against Armed Forces.

Now that fate is no longer in their hands, Razman called his teammates to do their part – win remaining matches and hope for the best.

“We have to win all four remaining matches … that’s our part of the deal. Hopefully, it will allow us to overtake JDT,” he said.

“The coach (Zainal Abidin Hassan) kept telling us the title race was not over when we were at the top and the same message still applies. We have been down before but that has inspired us.

“Nothing is certain in football and I hope there are more surprises in favour of us.”

Pahang host Kelantan at the Darul Makmur Stadium tonight and end their season with matches against Perak, Felda United and Terengganu this month.
