Pahang lose top spot

Pahang dropped to second in the standings after being held 2-2 by Felda United at the Darul Makmur Stadium.

Pahang and Felda United played a scoreless half but the host looked more likely of the two to find the back of the net.

The Darul Makmur crowd thought Matias Conti has scored barely two minutes into the match but the ball struck the post.

Dickson Nwakaeme had a try sail just above the goal five minutes later while R. Gopinathan’s in bound corner was saved by Farizal Harun.

Zesh Rehman had a goal disallowed for offside in the 40th minute.

Nwakaeme opened the scoring after going one-on-one with the custodian four minutes into the break.

The lead last 13 minutes until Fernandes Thiago’s header found the back of the net. He doubled his tally in the 69th minute.

Centreback Damion Stewart equalised from heading Hafiz Kamal’s freekick in the 78th minute.
